The mission of Angelina County Community Supervision and Corrections
Department is to meet the distinctive needs of the District and County
Courts, to provide effective supervision of offenders with a goal of
minimizing their potential danger to the community, and to increase the
individuals’ potential for positive behavioral changes through the use
of progressive sanctions/incentives/interventions and evidence based
practices.
The department will accomplish this by:

through enforcing court orders,
Providing a climate conducive to change in accordance with their level
of response-ability,
Treating them with basic dignity and respect while guiding them toward
their potential,
Referring them to effective programs which provide positive growth for
the individual and his/her family,
Providing victim services to the community as a whole and
Empowering staff to promote respectful, direct communication.
