Programs and information on commercial horticulture, livestock production, natural resources preservation, home gardening and economic development. - 4-H & Youth Development
4-H is a youth organization that encourages and promotes growth and development of young people through the supervision and guidance of adult leaders and County Extension Agents. The 4-H program is open to all youth ages 3rd. grade thorough 19 years of age. - Family and Consumer Science
Family and Consumer Science programs emphasize health, food and nutrition, parenting, and leadership. Programs are designed to strengthen individuals and families, improve health and increase economic stability. - Community Development
Opportunities to improve your community are available through Extension sponsored programs such as "Master Gardeners". "Master Gardeners" is a group of community volunteers who receive specialized training to aid Extension in providing horticultural information to the community.
