Successful Applicants Offer: |
- Applicants must have a J. D. or equivalent degree
from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in Texas.
- Prior prosecutorial experience is preferred.
- Regular timely attendance is an essential
function of this position.

Position Duties: |
- Prosecution of misdemeanor criminal cases,
prosecution of juvenile cases, and applications for protective
orders with primary focus on prosecution of family violence offenses
and obtaining protective orders.
|
| Position
Benefits: |
- The salary range is $52,755.00 annually, with
likely increase to $55,392.00 January 1, 2009, plus health car
insurance, retirement, vacation, and sick leave.
- The employer pays for state bar dues, and minimum
CLE training.
- The county also has a longevity pay program based
upon length of service.
