Welcome
to Angelina County, the "Land of the Little Angel." When
our forefathers named our county after that long ago Indian girl,
it gave us the distinction of being the only county in the great state
of Texas to bear the name of a woman! The hospitality that Angelina
offered to the Spanish and French explorers is still very much a part
of the community spirit of our county today. So we extend a friendly
"Texas howdy" and invite you to enjoy the beautiful pine
forests and recreational lakes in our area of Texas. As the representative
of the people of Angelina County, my office is always available for
