Duties of the County Auditor include:
- Auditing the accounts of officials who receive and disburse county funds
- Audit all accounts payable
- Process the payroll and all claims
- Administering a collection program for court fines and court costs
- Preparing monthly and annual reports for the county
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Serving as liaison with outside auditors
- Performing internal audit functions
